Research and Teaching:

--Field Research Assistant (West Texas A&M):  Various times from summer 1994 to 1996 in the Big Bend Ranch State Park. Presidio County TX.  Research topic--the study of population and community structure of scorpions in Big Bend RSP.  A project cordinated between Dr. Richard Henson at Appalachian State Univ. and Dr. Sissom at West Texas A&M.  Many students involved during this project between both schools.  Kari McWest and I were solo (team) during  parts of the study.  Lots of memories especially while finding V. globosus and being stuck overnight in the univerity van due to excessive sand along the Rio Grande River.

--Volunter Field Assistant for the Revysy Project.  Field collecting arachnids under the leaders of Dr. Oscar Francke, Dr. David Sissom and K. McWest with other students/ volunters in Chihauhua and Durango Mexico 2005 for two weeks.

--Graduate Teaching Assistant (West Texas A&M):  Fall 1995/ Spring 1996.
